Tie Dyed Butterfly Craft!

Need to do easy crafts with kids without much mess??? Take a coffee filter, let kids color it with washable markers, let dry, then take a spray bottle with water and lightly spray the filter, let colors run a little, set on paper plate to dry. Pinch middle together and glue down with Elmers glue or Tacky glue onto a popsicle stick (found at Walmart or craft stores), take another stick put glue on ...it and press filter between two sticks, put paper plates on top and underneath, set on counter or table, set book on top of plate to hold sticks down in place. Let dry. Can add pipe cleaners to the top of sticks with glue and bend into shape for antennas. And you got a tie dyed butterfly. Easy and little mess for kids. Make sure if kids get markers or glue on them to wipe off right away with soap and water or baby wipes so the stain of markers doesn't set in. Can add small magnets to backs of sticks for a magnetic butterfly to display on the fridge!
